Yuri Suzuki has recently been invited to the season finale of the Webby Podcast to review the key events that shaped his practice with David-Michel Davies.

Having had a strong passion for Motown and record collection since early ages, Yuri shared how his musical root was shaped during 80s Japan and talked about how music has changed over the years. He also spoke about the difficulties and backstories of recreating Raymond Scott’s Electronium, which is being shown at Barbican Centre's "AI: More Than Human" exhibition now.

From Ototo to Pentagram, Yuri took a look back at the curve of his practice. His original aspiration towards sound communication has never been changed. Listen to the Podcast now to find out more about Yuri’s experience as a Pentagram partner and how he foresees the future of sound design.
