MSG is a new record label launched by sound designer and Pentagram partner Yuri Suzuki.

MSG’s debut release is ‘Scott’s Dream—Music from a reimagined Digital Electronium’. It's timed to coincide with the birthday of the legendary director of Motown's Electronic Search and Development department, and creator of the Electronium, Raymond Scott.

Using AI, Yuri has worked with Counterpoint to reimagine the Electronium in digital form, coaxing a range of sounds from the instrument and moving from calm electronic counterpoint to more introspective and darker timbres.

The eleven compositions are available as a download and on cassette from MSG’s Bandcamp page along with the limited edition poster, with all profits going to the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund.
